Mark Roberts

Physical Therapist (PT), Clinic Director, CEO

Mark is originally from upstate New York. He graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo in 1996, moved to Tucson in 1998, and started AGILITY Spine and Sports Physical Therapy in 1999.

He worked as the team therapist for the Tucson Scorch Hockey team in 1999. He was the Catalina foothills middle school lacrosse coach in 2008 and 09. He is trained in sports medicine, orthopedics, balance/vestibular, and manual therapy.

He is continually refining his knowledge and manual skills, keeps current with the recent advances in surgery and post-op protocols, and practices evidence-based treatment.

When he is not treating patients, he likes to run, bike, play Lacrosse and Hockey, and spend quality time with his wife and 3 boys.

Jodi Sawicki Roberts

Physical Therapist (PT) & Owner

Jodi is originally from upstate New York and graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo in 1996. She moved to Tucson in 1997 and helped co-found Agility Spine and Sports Physical Therapy in 1999.

She has advanced training in orthopedics, sports injuries, manual therapy, Kinesio taping, and balance disorders. Jodi is currently treating patients part-time, as well as focusing on quality assurance, customer service, and practice management.

She is heavily involved with helping Agility Physical Therapy support Tucson community programs and events. In her spare time, Jodi enjoys time with her husband and three boys and is active in volunteering at her children's’ school.

Agility Physical Therapy is the sponsor of the Kind Kids Program at a local elementary school and Jodi acts as the program’s Kindness Coordinator. She enjoys camping, reading, playing sports and watching her boys’ sporting activities.

Andy Achoa

Physical Therapist (PT), DPT River /Campbell Clinic Manager

Andy is originally from Yuma, AZ and moved to Tucson after completing his doctorate program in physical therapy. Andy obtained his undergraduate degree in exercise science with a minor in chemistry from Northern Arizona University in 2000.

He continued his studies at NAU and went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy 2003. Andy has advanced training in orthopedics, post-op care, sports medicine and manual therapy.

In his free time, Andy enjoys staying active by working out, playing soccer, running and biking. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 2 young children. Andy is highly regarded by the Tucson medical community and his patients by treating everyone with the most current techniques, using state of the art technologies, and being such a friendly guy.

Andy Specializes in Manual Therapy, Sports Injuries, Shoulders, Knees, Ankles, Neck and Back pain, Elbow and Wrist pain, Balance/Vestibular, Post-operative Rehab. Andy is certified in Dry Needling.

Danny Hill

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

An experienced Healthcare professional, Danny redirected his career in 2006, and subsequently graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Pima Medical Institute in 2008.

Prior to becoming a PTA, Danny worked for 16 years in Behavioral Health with individuals that have developmental disabilities and or/mental illness. Danny is a Tucson native and graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 with a BA in Sociology.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, Danny is trained to perform all forms of skilled treatment provided by a PT.

Danny enjoys working with people from all walks of life. He always goes above and beyond with his patients and is one of our most popular team members. During his free time, Danny loves to golf and spend time with his family.

Jacob La Shot

Physical Therapist (PT) , DPT - Clinic Manager

Originally from Kenai, Alaska, Jake received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and recently graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. He is Dry Needle certified, he also holds certification for Vestibular rehab from American Institute of Balance.

Jake enjoys treating a multitude of conditions at Agility with a primary interest in sports medicine and orthopedics and making progressions towards improved health. When not treating patients, he is actively outdoors by hiking, climbing, soccer and an amateur photographer.

Specializes in: Sports Injuries, Shoulders, Knees, Ankles, Neck and Back pain, Elbow and Wrist pain, Balance/Vestibular, Post-operative Rehab. Jake is certified in Dry Needling.

Kathy Panetta

Physical Therapist (PT)

Kathy was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and did her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona. She graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 1992.

She has been a therapist all over the United States and has been a clinic director for seven years. She enjoys treating a variety of diagnosis and different types of patients from very young to the elderly.

She speaks Spanish and has the ability to sign.

She is trained in manual therapy, sports medicine, orthopedics, ergonomics, post-operative care, balance/vestibular problems.

When she is not working Kathy enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, spending time with her husband and keeping in touch with her college-age children.

Kayla Scotch

Physical Therapist (PT)

Born in Oregon, Kayla Scotch is one of our more versatile physical therapists. Kayla received her Bachelor Degree in Physiology with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Arizona in 2011. From there she continued to excel by earning her Doctorate in Physical therapy from Pacific University in 2014.

Kayla is also board certified in Kinesio tape as well as Dry needling. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, playing with her dog and being a foodie.

Lexi Okurily

Physical Therapist (PT), DPT

Lexi is a Tucson native who completed her bachelor degree in Physiology with a minor in Psychology at the University of Arizona in 2014. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in late 2017.

Lexi enjoys working with a variety of diagnoses and backgrounds from sports injuries and worker's compensation cases to balance training and post-operative rehab and everything in between.

She loves working together with her patients to develop an individual plan to help get them back to doing what they love. She also has a passion for working with persons with Parkinson Disease.

Since her undergraduate career, she has been involved in data collection, analysis, and presentation of clinical research on national and international levels, which emphasized utilizing disease-specific exercise as medicine for Parkinson's Disease. She is a Parkinson Wellness Recovery Certified Therapist.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trail running, playing volleyball and spending time with her friends and family.

Lynette Guerrero

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Lynette Amick-Guerrero grew up in Northwest Indiana and served 6 years in the U.S. Air Force following high school. She received an Associates of Arts in Modern Standard Arabic from the Defense Language Institue in Monterey, CA and spent 3 tours in the Middle East. After discharge, her love of the desert and mountains drew her to Tucson where she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Pima Medical Institute.

Lynette chose the Physical Therapy field because she believes in empowering others in their independence and function, having seen the effects of Parkinson's in her grandfather at a young age. She works side by side with the physical therapists to execute a successful treatment plan tailored to each individual.

Lynette is proud to work for Agility and enjoys every day with her patients. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, Yoga, relaxing at the beach, spending time with family, friends, and pets, and playing the drums.

Marissa Bunge

Physical Therapist

Marissa is a Tucson native who graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology and minor in Psychology, going on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University.

Marissa has a three-part approach to helping others achieve their goals, utilizing clinical expertise with evidence-based and patient-centered practice to treat the problem at the source. She specializes in sports medicine, orthopedics, pediatric orthopedics, post-op recovery, manual therapy, and dry needling.

Marissa is certified in Parkinson Wellness Recovery and is passionate about working with patients from all walks of life to form a therapeutic alliance.

Marissa enjoys traveling, watching baseball, and spending time camping and hiking with her fiancée and 3 dogs in her spare time.

Mike DuBois

Physical Therapist

Mike has been a physical therapist in Tucson for over 25 years since graduating from the University of New England in Southern Maine in 1987. His focus has been primarily in the field of Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Certified as a clinical specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 1999. He has a Masters in Geriatric Science and guest-lectures at the University of Arizona for medical students and graduate students in the area of functional changes associated with aging.

Mike has also been involved with developing strength and conditioning programs for local High School athletic teams while working regularly with Zona Volleyball and Sky Island Volleyball Club. Mike maintains his passion in arranging screening programs for local high school sports and club sports teams in order to enhance athletic performance and reduce the risk of injuries.

Morgan Fogel

Physical Therapist

Morgan is originally from Columbia, Missouri. She earned her bachelors degree in biology from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas, where she played NCAA Division II women’s soccer for 4 years. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona in 2017.

She enjoys working with all people with a variety of diagnoses, from balance to athletic injuries to post-operative care. She firmly believes taking time to educate her patients contributes to providing long-lasting relief and prevention of future injuries.

Outside of the clinic, Morgan enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Neil, and her family, playing soccer, running, and exploring new places.

Nicolas (Nico) Kenagy

Physical Therapist (PT), DPT, Orange Grove Clinic Director

Nico is a native of Tucson, AZ. He earned an undergraduate degree in Physiology from the U of A, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from NAU. Nico practices evidence-based treatment, which consists of utilizing the best research available, clinician expertise, and patient preference.

He believes that every patient has the ability to make progress towards their goals, and has experience working with all ages and fitness levels. He is especially passionate about falls prevention for the elderly and preventing injuries for new athletes.

His approach to treatment emphasizes empowering the patient with knowledge, reducing pain, and optimizing movement.

In his free time, Nico trains for running and cycling races with his friends and family. He has two dogs named Scooby and Melva who love to hike and run.

Nikki Merger

Physical Therapist (PT), DPT

Nikki is an Arizona native of Glendale, AZ. She received her Bachelors of Science in Physiology from the University of Arizona in 2015, going on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University at their Phoenix Biomedical Campus in 2017.

Nikki enjoys working with a variety of patients from differing backgrounds but has had a continual passion for working with the geriatric population since entering the healthcare field.

In her free time, Nikki enjoys riding her road bike, hiking local trails, and playing with her two dogs.

Alyssa (Ali) Zenner

Physical Therapist (PT), DPT

Originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota, Alyssa Zenner (Ali), is the newest member of the Agility team at the West clinic. Ali received her Bachelor Degree in Public Health from the University of Arizona in 2012. From there she continued pursuing her passion by earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2017.

Being a recent graduate Ali is enthusiastic and still looking to determine her specialty. She especially has a passion for neurological and geriatric rehabilitation with a solid foundation in evidence-based practice, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise.

Outside of work Ali enjoys water sports, camping, weight training, and eating.

Pete O'Brien

Physical Therapist (PT)

Peter is originally from Buffalo, New York. He attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he received Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Health Sciences as well as Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

Following graduation, he moved to Tucson where he became a proud member of the Agility Team!

In his spare time, Peter enjoys hiking, playing sports, playing cards, and taking care of his dog Sam.

Sarah Botazzi

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Sarah Bottazzi grew up in Prescott Arizona and graduated from high school in Tucson. She received an Associate of Science from Pima Community College. Later, she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Pima Medical Institute.

Sarah believes in evidenced-based practice and enjoys implementing the knowledge and skills she has learned to help her patients return to the activities they enjoy. She works side by side with the physical therapists to execute a successful treatment plan tailored to each individual.

Sarah is proud to work for Agility and enjoys every day with her patients.

In her free time, she likes hiking, bicycling, recreational volleyball, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her Australian shepherd.

Steven Hughes

Physical Therapist Assistant

Steven was born and raised in Tucson and graduated from Pima Medical Institute with his Occupational Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015. He also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University in 2009.

Steven has worked with the geriatric population in Tucson for six years as a Health Fitness Specialist and coordinator, having experience with wide varieties of geriatric pathologies, and disabilities. He is dedicated to returning all of his patients to their greatest level of function.

Steven has a very active and athletic family and is an enthusiastic sports fan. You may spot Steven golfing, running, or supporting a family at little league baseball and Tia Kwon Do events.

Tiffany Hodges

Owners

Originally from Maryland, Tiffany completed her B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she played on and captained the Women’s Club Tennis team. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Tiffany earned her Orthopedic Manipulative Physical Therapist (OMPT) certification through the Maryland Manual Therapy Certification Program. She is also certified in trigger point dry needling through the American Dry Needling Institute and Kinetacore, as well as, Selective Functional Movement Assessment through Gray Cook.

Tiffany has additional training in dynamic taping and in treating Tempormandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD), lymphedema and Women's Health for the pelvic floor. Tiffany has had experience working with college athletes in a clinical setting at UMBC and Loyola University. She has an interest in orthopedics, sports injuries, women's health, and neuromuscular movement/balance retraining.

Tiffany enjoys playing tennis in USTA, yoga, climbing, cycling, hiking, running, cooking and traveling in her spare time.

Emily Sauter

Physical Therapist

Emily is from upstate New York and graduated from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY with a BS in Health Science in 2014 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016.

Emily swam four years for Nazareth and was an NCAA DIII All-American in 2012. She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, from geriatrics to athletes of all levels and progressing them towards pain-free functional mobility.

Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys being active, swimming, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Bridget Lynch PT

Physical Therapist (PT)

Bridget is originally a native of Columbus, Ohio. She earned both of her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Health Sciences at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. Bridget was also a member of the Duquesne Women's Soccer Team during her undergraduate time there.

She enjoys working with a variety of diagnoses, with a special interest in pediatrics, returns to sport, and post-operative joint replacement. Bridget's favorite aspect of being a physical therapist is helping patients return to the activities they love to do!

When Bridget is outside of the clinic, she spends her time playing soccer, running, hiking with her dog, Sammy, or cheering on her Ohio State Buckeyes. She is a certified Running Analysis Specialist.

Tom Sanderson

Physical Therapist (PT)

Tom graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University in 1985 with a career focus in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. Tom's expertise includes Functional Movement Evaluations as well as designing athletic strength and conditioning programs for all athletes ranging from high school to the professional levels.

In addition, Tom has designed and implemented spine strength and conditioning programs as well as developing multiphase back school programs.

Tom played collegiate baseball at the University of Arizona and has a special interest in baseball-specific rehabilitation. He has developed baseball specific injury prevention programs for several of the local high schools and routinely works with collegiate and minor league professional baseball players. Tom and Shawn have developed a baseball-specific injury screen and will be working with a research team from USC to implement this screen on a national level.

Tom is a Nike Golf Certified Performance Specialist. Outside the clinic, Tom is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys all sports.
