Kathy McEwan

Clinic Director Tanque Verde

Kathy was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and did her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona. She graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 1992.

She has been a therapist all over the United States and has been a clinic director for several years. She enjoys treating a variety of diagnosis and different types of patients from very young to the elderly. She also treats infants, including late walkers and torticollis.

She speaks Spanish and has the ability to sign.

She is trained in manual therapy, sports medicine, orthopedics, ergonomics, post-operative care, balance/vestibular problems.

When she is not working Kathy enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, spending time with her husband and keeping in touch with her college-age children.

Lexi O'Kurily

Physical Therapist / Tanque Verde

Lexi is a Tucson native who completed her bachelor degree in Physiology with a minor in Psychology at the University of Arizona in 2014. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in late 2017.

She loves working together with her patients to develop an individual plan to help get them back to doing what they love. She also has a passion for working with persons with Parkinson Disease.

Since her undergraduate career, she has been involved in data collection, analysis, and presentation of clinical research on national and international levels, which emphasized utilizing disease-specific exercise as medicine for Parkinson's Disease. She is a Parkinson Wellness Recovery Certified Therapist. Lexi is also a Certified Running Gait Analyst and is certified in Dry Needling.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trail running, playing volleyball and spending time with her friends and family.

Dana Kristofitz

Physical Therapist

Dana grew up in Tucson and graduated from Tanque Verde High School in 2011. She then graduated from the University of Arizona with a major in Physiology and a double minor in Psychology and Spanish before moving to Portland, Maine and attending the University of New England for her Doctor of Physical Therapy from 2016-2019.

She participated in a research study at UNE regarding chronic pain and motor learning in individuals with knee osteoarthritis. She has an interest in working with post-operative patients, general orthopedics, and athletes, whether they be student athletes or weekend warriors. She has taken courses in Kinesiology taping.

During her time off, Dana enjoys hiking, swimming, biking, camping, and spending time with friends, family, and her fur babies.
